Privacy Policy

Doorlume ("we," "us") provides automated lead response, qualification, and appointment scheduling for real estate agents and teams ("clients"). This policy explains what information we handle, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to people who contact our clients (such as home buyers and sellers) and to agents who use or ask about our service.
Information we collect
- Lead contact details a person submits to one of our clients, such as name, phone number, and email address.
- Conversation details shared by email or text, such as home search preferences, budget range, timeline, areas of interest, pre-approval status, and preferred appointment times.
- Appointment details, such as the time and email address used to book a call or showing.
- Client information from agents who use or contact us, such as name, brokerage, business email, phone number, service areas, and business address.
How we use information
- To reply to inquiries, ask follow-up questions, and schedule appointments on behalf of our clients.
- To send the client agent a summary of the conversation and alert them when a lead is ready to talk.
- To send a limited number of follow-up messages to people who have not yet booked, until they book, ask us to stop, or the follow-ups end.
- To keep records that help us run, monitor, secure, and improve the service.
Automated replies and AI
Doorlume uses artificial intelligence to read incoming messages and write replies on behalf of our clients. Message content is sent to our AI provider (Google's Gemini API, on a paid plan) only to generate those replies and to summarize the conversation for the agent. Under that plan, the content is not used to train the provider's models. Our AI is instructed not to ask about or record protected characteristics and to follow fair housing rules.
Google account data
To send and receive lead emails and to book appointments, Doorlume connects to Google Gmail and Google Calendar accounts that we or our clients authorize. We use this access only to:
- read replies from leads in the connected mailbox and send responses in the same conversation;
- label messages we have handled;
- detect new appointments booked on the connected calendar so we can confirm them and notify the agent.
Doorlume's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not allow humans to read it except as needed to provide or troubleshoot the service, for security, or to comply with the law.
Text messaging
We send text messages only to people who have asked to be contacted about a property or real estate service. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.
Email opt-out
You can stop receiving emails from us at any time by replying STOP to any message. We will confirm once and then stop contacting you.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the client agent the person contacted, and with service providers that help us operate, such as email, calendar, messaging, AI, and hosting providers. These providers may use the information only to provide their services to us. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of others.
Security and retention
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, including encrypted connections and access limited to people who need it to run the service. We keep information only as long as needed to provide the service to our clients, or as required by law. When a client stops using Doorlume, we delete or return that client's lead data on request.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any email or text to stop hearing from us.
- Email us to ask what information we hold about you, or to correct or delete it.
- Agents can revoke Doorlume's access to their Google account at any time from their Google Account security settings.
Children
Doorlume is a business service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it last changed.
